Buying your first home with confidence.

Working with first time Buyers is my favorite part of the job! They are excited to take the next step in life, which is often prompted by a growing family and the need for more space. Here are some tips to consider when you're considering first getting into a home/the real estate market:
1) View LOTS of houses! I always advise my clients to first see a wide variety of homes in multiple neighborhoods. While every home is unique, and you can really start to narrow down where the right fit will be by checking out a variety of options.
2) Talk through and separate your needs and wants. I find these often come into clarity for new buyers after viewing different properties that offer different lifestyles - example: low maintenance yards vs. space for fun and entertaining that requires more upkeep.
3) Build up confidence and knowledge of the market. This comes from seeing what will work for you, but also what won't. Knowing what your dollars can get you will ensure you buy with confidence and are happy in your new home for many years to come.
These are just some of the bits of advice I give my clients to ensure we find the perfect home. Questions? Give me a call, I'd be happy to guide you.
